Please try again. 2023 Featured Makers A new virtual frontier in the metaverses Researchers and students at New York Tech are using spatial computing and virtual reality for art, research and to improve human health. Come by for a demonstration on how VR, metaverses, and digital light are used at NYIT. Crafsman Meet-n-Greet Crafsman is attending Maker Faire Long Island this year using a telepresence robot built by some of his fellow Makers. Crafsman will be participating in live sessions throughout the day and folks will be able to interact with him in real time! Smithtown FIRST Robotics Team 810 The Smithtown Robotics team will be demoing their 2023 FIRST Robotics Competition robot. Attendees will have a chance to see the robot in action and get information about all the FIRST programs. Design a Frog with Science Friday Design a frog species of your own as you learn about the many ways frogs and toads adapt to their environment then get hands-on as you make a model with clay.
